Hit the track in single seater racing car for some serious motor racing fun!

When you arrive at the venue you will be given a safety demo before you can be unleashed onto the track. At first you will familiarise yourself with the track and new racing techniques as advised by your instructor in a high performance sports or saloon car. Once you and your instructor are confident in your abilities on the track, you will be allowed to jump in the single seater racing car and burn some rubber. Try to remember the advice of your instructor as you drive at exhilarating speeds until you get the flag to bring you into the pits.

Guidelines for participants

The maximum weight is 18 stone for this activity.

The maximum height is 6′4″ and the minimum height to take part is 5′0″.

The minimum age to participate is 17 years old.

A full driving licence is required at some venues.

Drivers should be generally fit and healthy as driving can be tiring and physically demanding.

Dumper Racing

Length of activity 2.5 hours.

Race dumpers competitively to find out who is the king of the dumper (racers)!

Racing dumpers is a great fun day out – particularly if you are racing with a few friends. Typically each competitor will get to race in two different heats with the fastest times recorded to see who will race in the final head to head race. If you are the luck winner you will take home the legendary Diggerland goodie pack.

Guidelines for participants

The minimum age for drivers is 17 years old.

You need to have a valid UK manual driving license to participate.

Availability

This driving day is available on the last Saturday of the month from March to November.

Weather guidelines

This driving day is not dependent on weather conditions in order to go ahead.

Number of participants

There will be up to 30 other drivers in your group.

Spectators

You are very welcome to bring spectators to watch you drive but they will be charged £5 per person.

Single Seater Racing Car Driving

A great day spent racing a single seater racing car and getting expert racing tuition from a qualified instructor.

Once you have arrived at your chosen venue you will begin a safety briefing after which you will take out a performance saloon car and complete laps under the guidance of a qualified instructor. You will be given tips on racing lines and braking so that you can utilise this knowledge in the single seater later on. Once you are comfortable out on the track you will be able to take the wheel of your single seater racing car which will be a Formula First, Formula Renault or Formula Ford.

Formula 1

Length of activity 8 hours.

Locations Three Sisters in Lancashire (North).

Fulfil the ultimate drivers dream and drive a real Formula 1 car in this once in a lifetime motor racing experience day!

Your day will begin at the track with a safety meeting covering the dos and don’ts and driving techniques for the day. Once the talk is over, you will be taken on 5 demonstration laps in a Mini Cooper ‘S’ driven by a professional racing driver, so you can get used to the track. This is then followed by 10 assessed practice laps. The action then starts to hot up when you jump in a Porsche 911 Turbo and take it on 6 laps, followed by a further 6 laps in a Ferrari 360 Modena.

In order to get your breath back, you will be provided a superb lunch at the venue. After which the action revs up to even greater heights.

After you have completed your laps in the Ferrari, you get to sample the first of 3 racing cars. The first car is a Race Prepared Single Seat Formula Ford which you will take on 7 unpaced laps and a 10 lap drive of a Formula Three Single Seater follows. The finale is when you take the wheel of a 1996 Forti-Corse 600 bhp Formula One car and take it for 10 breathtaking laps. At the end of the day you will be presented with a personalised Formula One certificate. This truly is an unmissable driving experience day.
